Description

The rugged and vast Owyhee Canyonlands are located in the wild SE corner of Oregon and the SW corner of Idaho. Three Finger Rock is located on the Oregon side of the border and is visible on the horizon to anyone with a keen eye who might be traveling between Boise, Idaho and the southeastern part of Oregon. It is located roughly 40 miles north of Jordan Valley, Oregon and is accessible during much of the year with a high-clearance vehicle. Efforts are currently underway to designate the Owyhee Canyonlands as a National Monument to protect the areas cultural, natural and historical significance.
